I read something on the internet about a condition called Dental Fluorosis. What exactly is it?

Dental fluorosis is a change in the appearance of the teeth, usually in the form of faint white markings on the tooth’s surface. It is so subtle that it usually takes a dentist to detect it. Most fluorosis does not affect the function or health of the teeth. In fact, teeth with mild fluorosis are more resistant to cavities.
